About This Novel
This is a social mystery novel that focuses on women's safety and social issues. The background of the story is set in the fictional Xinhai City, China, and the truth is gradually revealed through the experience of British-Chinese Gao Chuan investigating air crash survivor Yu Xiaoxue. On November 2, 2019, an air crash occurred in Xinhai City. The only survivor, Yu Xiaoxue, had many doubts. Three years later, the crime rate in Xinhai City increased, and a large number of immigrants poured into Xinhai City. The Xinhai police asked Detective Gao Chuan to assist in the investigation. Through the investigation of survivor Yu Xiaoxue, Gao Chuan discovered the story behind and the contrary truth. The novel focuses on a number of bizarre cases, including the sudden online death of the deceased Chen Zheng and others, the mystery of the identity of the plane crash survivor Yu Xiaoxue, and multiple serial murders caused by revenge and social conflicts. These cases not only involve complex criminal methods, but also explore the conflict between human nature, social expectations and the legal system.
