About This Novel

The writing style is very delicate, but the multiple personalities possess the top skills of the corresponding characters of that personality, which is a bit incomprehensible.
The storyline is very attractive and the author is very good at creating a sad atmosphere. As a person who didn't sacrifice a finger during the war and went to seek refuge in a foreign country, and then came back to clean up after the war, is he really qualified to stand on the high ground of the winner and attack the lower-level soldiers who are the losers? Nesbo's reflections on Norway's World War II history are both sober and unpretentious
