This book is a healing mystery novel. Developed with a dual-line narrative structure, when Joanna was sorting out her father's belongings, she discovered a love letter that had been returned because no one was found. A series of questions made Joanna decide to go to Tuscany alone to find the truth. In the same warm and friendly area of Italy, from the war-torn romance of bomber pilot Hugo who was seriously injured during the war in Tuscany in 1944 to his daughter Joanna in 1976 who is looking for the answer to a love that spans thirty years, the stories of father and daughter in two different time and space are intertwined, facing love, career, family... Hugo Langley recalled the past when he lost too much blood and closed his eyes. He seems to be a person who likes to recall the past. He must be emotional. Because he is afraid that he is about to die, he wants to recall the past to make himself nostalgic.
