Sin--Comments on "The Complete Book of Sin"
If we compare different novels to different wines, "The Complete Book of Sin" should be like a bottle of Erguotou, with concise and sharp language, and the plot keeps moving forward, with a vague feeling of cutting through the mess with a sharp knife, like drinking a large glass of Erguotou in one go. And some of the shining sentences in the text are the aftertaste after the strong drink enters the throat and burns. For example: "Repentance is a pair of wings that knows the way home." In the novel, all the characters are constantly committing crimes or tracking criminals. After clearing away the layers of fog, "repentance" becomes a thread that runs throughout the novel. One end of this thread is a hell full of sin, and the other end is connected to a pair of wings of repentance, which leads to heaven. Zhou Xingxing, a child who grew up in the Public Security Bureau; Gao Fei, a child who spent his childhood in prison. They are destined to meet in this world. Their origins are explained at the beginning of the novel, and everything becomes fate. The people who have appeared in their lives, Ku Ban, Old Man Ding, Liu Chaoyang, Qiu Ba, Tiezui, Tu Laoye, Xiao Youchui... Become the people who need to appear in their fate, and fate is leading them forward, towards hell. Beyond the story, people can see that the spider calmly describes the various scenery on this road to the readers. Just as Dante saw when he traveled through the three realms in "The Divine Comedy", the spider saw thieves, prostitutes, beggars, garbage pickers, robbers, murderers, rapists, drug dealers, underworld bosses, jailbreakers, killers... They are people living in another world, with their own rules and order. The underworld is an illegitimate government, and the government is a legal underworld. They serve the same purpose. What Spider shows readers is the dark world like hell. However, in this world, there are sins, and there are also some details that are touching, even if it is just the hopeless love of a deformed person for a girl selling buns, or the hope that the girl named "Hong" has for the little oil hammer year after year. Where love grows, there is paradise. They are huddled in the corner of hell, looking up to heaven. In "The Myth of Sisyphus", Camus compared life to the process of pushing a stone up and down a mountain. Life has no purpose, it is just to survive in the intertwining of happiness and pain, towards the end of life. A very important function of literary works is to give people the courage to continue on the road of life. Obviously, Spider's work has been revealing such information to people. Finally, at the end of the story, gunfire rang out and it was over. There is no happiness, and there is also no pain. There are only stories that happened on this helpless road of no return, and the author's deep-rooted compassion in the process of calmly narrating: there is no loud cry, just calmly cutting open the other side of life and showing it to the world bloody. Truth is the greatest compassion, allowing people to still have the courage to imagine what heaven will look like in the purgatory of life.
The ending is thought-provoking.
One autumn many years ago, the persimmons in Yimeng Mountain turned red.
It's a good start, my crotch is stretched.
The first story is quite attractive, but later on it feels like the writer has changed. The characters are very fake, and some stories are too fabricated. They are anxious to bring out the author's personal emotions and understanding of society... Has the writer changed?
