About This Novel
It's a rare good summer in Denmark. The temperature is suitable, the sky gets dark late, the daylight seems to be stretched out, and the red sunset has no end in sight. The central square in the capital, Copenhagen, is filled with all kinds of vendors, each setting up a street stall and earning a small amount of money. The lives of ordinary people in Denmark are quiet and irrelevant. There are also unusual ones. On the corner diagonally opposite the square, there is a three-story red house, squeezed among other houses. The windows are light green, and it has a bit of Andersen's fairy tale flavor. In a third-floor room of the house, a man lay on the carpet. The man had flaxen hair, a high nose, his eyes closed tightly, and he looked like he had fainted. Beside him, there was a girl standing. This woman had black hair, which cascaded down to her waist, and her whole body was trembling. She held a sharp object in her hand and walked towards the man on the ground.
