About This Novel

The inability to be honest between family members is the beginning of tragedy. "Jealousy", "Lying", "Too controlling", "Neglectful", "Bloodshed", etc., Jim listed eight of Sarah's crimes one by one, and all of them were solid. Sarah couldn't argue, because what Jim was reprimanding was a completely unfamiliar self, good-for-nothing, unworthy of taking care of his daughter, let alone staying at home... Sarah couldn't go home, and Robin couldn't leave the house: the twin sisters had been very different from each other since childhood. No one in the cold, damp Manchester knew Robin existed. At least her neighbors had no idea that there was a pair of eyes that, like monitors, could see all their unknown scandals and secrets. Robin never goes out, unless there is a flood, fire, or someone with a prior appointment, otherwise she will never open the door. But this time it was different. The knocker was persistent. As soon as the door opens, the sisters who have lost contact for many years are reunited, and the past that has been avoided for many years flows in. Those secrets hidden due to fragility will eventually recuperate in silence and come back with a heavy blow...
