A shocking novel
When I first read this novel, based on the first impression of the novel's name and cover (physical book), I thought it was youth literature. Later, after reading the brief introduction, I found it quite interesting. This novel is relatively long, and the layout of the book is also relatively large. It is densely packed with words, which is really difficult to read. I went there, but I finished reading it in the end. I am glad that I persevered and discovered such a beautiful novel. It also allowed me to get to know Cai Jun better, a very good writer. His other novels are also very beautiful, such as "Butterfly Cemetery", "In the World" and so on. The novel "Like Yesterday" is really beautiful, at least I think so. Its ending is completely unexpected. It also involves some of our deeper thinking about human nature and family affection. It is very touching. It is a great novel...
