About This Novel

The old world was collapsing, and glory and sin were competing. Chief Designer Burnham worked diligently to bring together well-known architects and planners to create an World Expo that would amaze the world and reshape Chicago's image. He said this wouldn't be just a dream. A few blocks away, a handsome young doctor stepped out of the train, carrying a surgery box. To women unaware of his secret obsessions, his appearance was alluring. He walked into this world full of noise, haze and steam, and sketched a "mysterious hotel" in his mind, where all the secret evil dreams would come true...
