It's not very scary, maybe the male protagonist is involved in the dream. Or maybe that person just stole something while drunk and wanted to pay it back when he sobered up.
There is a saying in my family: after a child is born, the first person who comes to visit is the child's "birther". It is said that the child's appearance, personality and destiny are guaranteed to be like him or her.
