About This Novel
That is, TheSignofFour, today's translation: The Sign of Four. The second long article in this series was originally published in the British "Lippincott's Magazine" in February 1890. The translator is Liu Bannong, a pioneer of the New Culture Movement, a writer, linguist and educator. He was a professor in the Department of Chinese Literature at Peking University and an important writer of the Mandarin Duck and Butterfly School in the Republic of China.
