It's My Pleasure to Cut You Open
About This Novel
In eighteenth-century London, England, anatomy was considered ethically heretical. Surgeon Daniel and his five disciples devoted themselves to the study of anatomy, but due to the lack of formal channels, they could only use illegally obtained corpses as research objects. Because he bought the body of a newly buried daughter, Daniel's anatomy classroom was searched by the police, but two other corpses of unknown origin were found: a teenager with severed limbs and a man with a disfigured appearance. Hidden murders come one after another. Blind magistrate John and his female assistant intervene in the investigation. Can they break through the darkness of the foggy city and find out the real murderer?

Hard to describe in one word
There are many characters, the writing is very detailed, and some parts are a bit long-winded. I can only say it's interesting to see the motivation reversal.
