Wu Heping's another masterpiece after "Taint", this book has been adapted into a TV series of the same name by the CCTV TV Drama Production Center. Wu Heping is a member of the Chinese Writers Association, a Ph. D. In Criminology, and a master's tutor at the People's Public Security University of China. He once went to the countryside to farm, and later became a policeman. He has served as a security chief, a local party and government cadre, and is currently the spokesperson of the Ministry of Public Security. After thirty-eight years as a police officer, he participated in the detection of many major cases. As a commander, he participated in solving the "September 18th" major case of theft of cultural relics from the Kaifeng Museum of Art Museum that shocked the whole country.
