About This Novel
"Confession" is a long mystery novel that explores the issue of juvenile delinquency. It mainly revolves around the unreasonableness of the minor protection law, and through the interrogation of the reasons for the crimes of two juveniles, it questions the shortcomings of education in Japan today, the adverse social environment factors for the growth of teenagers, etc. Among the shocking campus crimes, who is the culprit among teachers, parents, and students? Is using violence to fight violence a defense of good, or a promotion of evil? As a single mother, a female middle school teacher raised her daughter alone, but her four-year-old daughter accidentally drowned in the school swimming pool. She did not choose to call the police. After private investigation, she found that her daughter was killed by two students in her class. Why do students murder classmates? What action will the female teacher take?

It's quite good, but the first few pages are a bit hard to read, but then you'll be immersed in it.

The structure is really well written and very creative, although the ending is a bit mid-range.
It was incomprehensible at first, but later I realized it was from the first-person perspective of multiple people. Many of the plots were too coincidental and unreasonable, so I can only say that it was average.
