About This Novel
The protagonist of the novel "Midnight Music", Peter Harper, was originally a well-known film and television soundtrack composer. He fell into a creative depression due to divorce and hid alone on a remote beach in northern Ireland, hoping to find inspiration in this isolated place. Living together on the beach only a few miles away is a mysterious old American couple, Leo and Mary. In addition, Peter met Judy, who lived in a town near the beach, and the two soon fell in love. One rainy summer night, Peter was struck by lightning while driving home. Although he escaped death, he suffered from headaches ever since. He began to have nightmares, and each dream was extremely terrifying. At first, Peter thought it was just an accidental incident, but the horrifying scenes in his dreams became more and more real. People around him and himself appeared in horrific scenes repeatedly, and the fragmented dreams seemed to be slowly pieced together. What was supposed to be a happy summer beach is about to become the most terrifying nightmare...
