About This Novel
This book is a full-length novel telling the work and life stories of China's grassroots criminal police. The protagonist Zuo An is the deputy captain in charge of the criminal police team of the County Public Security Bureau. As a young man, he encountered a big problem as soon as he took office. Luo Rui, a former police school classmate and work partner, was on the run because of a marital dispute and was on the run for murder. There has been no progress in the pursuit. Zuo An and other colleagues eliminated all kinds of external interference and did not give up their original intention of pursuing the truth. They pushed through the many fogs and traps created by Luo Rui, who had strong anti-reconnaissance capabilities, and finally revealed the truth about Luo Rui's fake death and impersonation of other people's identities, and arrested him. The work takes the "Luo Rui case" as the main line, and also intersperses it with other typical cases, as well as the love and family life of criminal police officers.
