About This Novel

A private plane crashed, and of the 11 passengers, only two survived - an unknown painter Scott and the four-year-old son of a media tycoon. The victims include the media giants Bateman and his wife, their daughter and bodyguards, wealthy Wall Street businessmen Kipling and his wife, an experienced pilot, a cynical young co-pilot and a female flight attendant who had just experienced a breakup. An investigation ensued, but the truth seemed even murkier. The media hype and news fermentation made Scott the target of public criticism. The plane crash may have been an accident, but why was he able to share a private jet with the two giants? Why did he create paintings of plane crashes a few years ago?
