About This Novel
This is the beginning of a series of suspense novels for children. The main character of the series is named Samantha. Both her parents are teachers in this school. Moore Primary School is located in Manchester, England. Samantha's best friend is Jessica. However, Moore Elementary School looks set to close. At the last moment, the headmistress, Miss Moore, moved the school to Lakeview, the place Miss Moore loved most in her life. So what are the mysterious events at Moore Elementary School? Before the first semester of school in Lakeview, students went camping together, where they heard about a local haunted house. At the same time, several terrifying people are looking for trophies that disappeared long ago. They stopped at nothing to find them, even searching Miss Moore's office for clues as to where the loot was hidden. This series won the HM Teen Readers' Favorite Book Award in 2014.
