This book is one of the 007 Collection Series (Second Series), which was adapted into the movie "The Man with the Golden Gun". A year ago, James Bond was on a mission in Japan. Bond met Mafia Lofield, the enemy who killed his wife. In a bloody battle, Bond killed him, but Bond also suffered a severe head injury and unfortunately lost his memory. Under the care of Japanese fishermen, Bond recovered, but the lost memory could not be recovered. Therefore, Bond went to the Soviet Union to search for his memory, but was captured by the Soviet secret agent organization - the KGB. He was brainwashed by the KGB and was sent to the UK to assassinate Director M, but the assassination mission failed. The British counter-brainwashed Bond again. In order to verify Bond's loyalty, Director M sent him to deal with the perverted Scala, the man with the golden gun. Bond searched hard for Skala and became an ordinary worker to get close to Skala. When Bond was about to complete his mission, his identity was exposed, and Bond had a life-or-death showdown with the Man with the Golden Gun.
