James Bond goes to the Czech Republic to cover the defection of Soviet spy Goskov. The liaison officer helps Bond bring the defector to the West through underground pipelines. Gorskov was kidnapped after he only revealed that Soviet General Bushkin was conducting a military operation to "kill spies." Bond returned to the Czech Republic and learned that Goskov's defection was only to divert Western attention, and that Bushkin's purpose was a large international arms trade. Bond engages in a fierce battle with the opponent. Finally, Bond unexpectedly destroys the Soviet air base.
