About This Novel

The night was dark and windy, and the dull sound of the tide could be heard in the distance. A knife "swishes" through the wormwood as tall as a person, pushing aside a clump of weeds. Hidden behind the grass were two children, a boy and a girl, hugging each other in fear. Seeing that he was discovered, the boy suddenly took out something and threw it into the air. A ray of blue light immediately rose into the sky. He pulled the girl and ran towards the pile of rocks, not caring about the thorns on the soles of his feet. The murderer followed leisurely behind him, his ferocious laughter more piercing than the night wind. Suddenly, a strong, salty wind hit them, and the two children stopped in their tracks. The girl looked over the boy's shoulder and screamed helplessly. In front of them was a cliff, and the black sea below was roaring and beating against the cliff. "You guys are running away, why do you have to stop?" The person behind said with a grin.
