About This Novel
This book is a collection of local prose. The book is divided into four series, namely "Wheat Flower", "Bean Seedling", "He Xiang" and "Ear of Grain". The growth process of grain is used to symbolize the human life process, which is cleverly conceived. The author uses the hometown where he was born and raised as the background and the development of the times as clues to truly record the life stories of four generations. It includes both the bumpy experiences of the older generation in the 1920s and 1930s, as well as the current emotional exchanges with children. The language is fluent, natural and full of emotion. It narrates the changes of the times and local customs, and expresses the happiness of ordinary people.
