About This Novel
Richard Abernathy left a large fortune before his death. After his funeral, his sister, Miss Cora, who always behaved rather strangely, said this: "But he was murdered, wasn't he?" Cora was brutally murdered in her bed at home the next day. Each of the six estate beneficiaries has a motive, and each of them happens to have no alibi! This "interesting" case puts Poirot in a dilemma... Can he unravel the clues from the conversations with family members and discover clues? There is a lot of fog, and the truth is not revealed until the end of the story!

No matter how big a family is, it is still indifferent when facing interests. Unfortunately, there is still no one to mourn for the deceased. The murderer also had a heavy artistic complex and was filled with jealousy and hatred.

As wonderful as ever, as selfish, greedy and indifferent human nature as ever.
It once again explains that when faced with immediate benefits, family members of wealthy people always show their greed and indifference. And the ending is always so unexpected. Poirot's summary of the case is as exciting as ever and exciting!
Many errors.
Translation or carelessness. There are often errors in this series, but this one seems to be especially full of them.
After reading it, there were so many names at first that it was hard to remember. It will be fine later.
