About This Novel
The London girl Victoria is young, beautiful and full of life, but she is a little impulsive in doing things. An encounter in the park in the afternoon made her decide to follow the "lover" she had just met to Baghdad, even though she only had a few pounds in her pocket, and even though she didn't even ask her lover's last name. Baghdad, this mysterious oriental city, quickly drew Victoria into the whirlpool.
