A collection of prose and haiku by Matsuo Basho, a master of Japanese literary circles and the "Hai Hai Saint", including Basho's main representative works. This book has two parts. The first part is "journey and diary", and the second part is "haiku". "Travel·Diary" includes Matsuo Basho's six famous works: "Oshu Trail" and "Travel in the Wilderness", "Journey to Kashima", "Ji no Essay", "Travel to Sarako" and "Diary of Saga". "Haiku" accounts for about half of the whole book, a total of 118 articles. Matsuo Basho's thoughts, emotions, experiences, and perceptions are all included.
