1988: I Want to Talk to the World (illustrated Commemorative Edition)
by Han Han
About This Novel
This book uses a station wagon as a carrier to express Han Han's views on the world and the current reality through various realistic scenes such as what he saw on the road, memories of the past, and complicated relationships between characters. The story is advanced by two clues in parallel. The first clue is that the protagonist "I" drove a car produced in 1988 on the way to pick up a friend in a distant place, and met Nana and accompanied her all the way, which sparked a series of sparks. The other clue is that during this journey, "I" kept looking back on his childhood, thinking about the past and the current path of life.
