About This Novel
This book tells the story of the Qianlong period of the Qing Dynasty when the imperial court wanted to escort the Lamaist sacred object Jinbenba Vase to Lhasa, Tibet. People from all walks of life gathered in Tibet for their own purposes. This leads to the love story between Tang Jingtian and Glacier Goddess. When it was published in Taiwan in the early days, it was renamed "The Flying Dragon of the Western Regions". Chen Dingji, the envoy of the Sakya Sect in Tibet, and his son Chen Tianyu attended the local chieftain's banquet. In order to save the female assassin Zina who was captured by the chieftain, Chen Tianyu showed his unknown martial arts and finally rescued Zina. The two had a secret affection, and the chieftain's daughter also fell in love with Chen Tianyu. Seven Swords Down the Tianshan Mountain → Legend of the Glacier Goddess → Yunhai Jade Gong Yuan is a trilogy published by Daxia Liang in mainland China in the 1980s. Its influence is comparable to Daxia Jin's Condor Shooting Trilogy at the same time. I loved watching it and loved Ling Weifeng, Mao Huanlian, Tang Jingtian, Gui Bing'e, and especially Jin Shiyi and Li Shengnan. I shed tears back then.
I read this novel when I was in elementary school. It was very good! Classic!

The "Glacier Goddess" is a Nepalese princess who grew up in an ice palace with a beautiful appearance and a family tradition of glacier swordsmanship; the young knight Tang Jingtian comes from a well-established family, and his father Tang Xiaolan is the most respected martial arts master and has won the heart of the Glacier Goddess. At that time, the King of Nepal led an army to invade Tibet. The Glacier Goddess received help from Tang Jingtian and persuaded the King of Nepal to withdraw his troops, thus promoting Sino-Nepalese friendship. The love and tolerance of the Glacier Goddess not only won Tang Jingtian's love, but also melted the cynical Jin Shiyi and established a sincere friendship.
