I like Xiao Huan's character. She has a noisy mouth but is the kindest and most selfless one at heart. Whether it's towards Duo He, the children, or her man, this is an admirable Chinese mother!
A sad song of the Virgin and the scumbag
The extremely chaotic and absurd family relationship between husband and wife, although this is partly caused by the legacy of the Japanese invasion of China, and secondly, the tragedy caused by the unprincipled kindness of the female protagonist and the extreme selfishness of the male protagonist. Duohe has an embarrassing identity. She is obviously the biological mother of the children, but she dare not make it public, so she can only pretend to be the children's aunt. Her biological son Zhang Tie kicked her in the head unscrupulously, without any dignity as a mother. Although it was pitiful and disgusting, after she registered her household registration, she could obviously leave the Zhang family and find another future, but she refused. Zhu Xiaohuan, fierce and kind-hearted, devoted her whole life to her family, but her old age was miserable, her building was empty, and she was all alone. The only person who kept her company was a dog that she almost abandoned, which made people extremely heartbroken. She is like an old hen, protecting other people's children with their husbands, women who are ambiguous with their husbands, and extremely selfish husbands. This woman has an open and selfless heart. She always puts herself in other people's shoes, but never thinks about herself. Zhang Jian, he was not unjust at all when he was imprisoned. He was virtuous and capable, but he enjoyed the blessings of others. He knew clearly that his family's relationship between husband and wife was not tolerated by the world in terms of emotion, reason, and law, yet he still took risks. Not only did he lose Xiaohuan's love for her hair and fists, causing her to die alone; he also only pursued pleasure for himself and chose others instead of sending others away, delaying a woman's most beautiful youthful charm and depriving her of her right to be a wife and mother. After she was released from prison, she abandoned Xiaohuan and was able to shamelessly rely on Duohe to go to Japan for medical treatment. This man was still dreaming of a wife and concubines until his death. Although this tragedy was caused by war, and the Japanese war of aggression is too numerous to describe, in my opinion, Zhang Jian's actions after the war were justifiable. It is precisely because of his selfish and ambiguous attitude at home that the family ethics are chaotic. The children are at a loss and have no sense of belonging. The daughter's future is blocked and she hates the family. The eldest son beats his biological mother, and the younger son also stays away from the family.
Fate is unfair.
I really like the character Xiao Huan
A book, an era.
I finished watching the TV series and was deeply touched. Let's read the original novel.
I like Xiaohuan, but those two kids who went to Japan were too selfish. It is just a product of the times. The twin brothers have blood and humanity.
Lost and Persevered
In that chaotic era, the air was filled with publicity and austerity; young people showed off again and again, breaking through the ethical bottom line for thousands of years; one after another, the austerity told people how to be content. Some people are confused, and some people persevere. The protagonist Dohe, an orphan who came to Japan, was involved in the vast torrent with the legacy of history; in a foreign country, she had nothing to rely on, she was lost and once despaired of ending her life; she also persevered, and kept the promise of "meeting" at nine o'clock every night for Erhe who had hurt her. She walked out of the dead body without knowing where she was. She was dressed in ragged clothes in the ice and snow, dreaming of returning to her hometown from Dalian. However, fate played a trick on her. She fell into the hands of bandits, then transferred to the security group, and finally fell into the hands of the man Zhang Liangjian, and lived a life of neither a wife nor a concubine. People who sympathized with her lamented her misfortune, while those who hated her hated her birth. Her identity is a mystery in a family of six. She is the mother of three children, and she is also what they call their sister-in-law. She is Zhang Jian's lover, and she is also what outsiders call her sister-in-law. She resisted fiercely and obeyed gently. But no matter what identity she appears in, she will polish the floors and iron the clothes. Her stubbornness makes Zhu Xiaohuan a defender when she comes in to change shoes. Her loss was that of a girl, and her perseverance was that of a mother; Erhe took her to play on the bank of the Yangtze River, and she got lost happily; she struggled for more than twenty days to find a home to feed her baby despite being hungry and cold. She was angry with Erhe for ignoring her in front of her co-workers; she was also willing to sell her body to visit him in prison. In the mighty torrent, the eldest son refused to recognize her and even kicked her; that kick hit his aunt's chest and also kicked her mother's heart. She forgave him and thought of taking him to Japan by doing the cleaning herself. Her two sons are like the split of her contradictory personality. The eldest son Zhang Tie was confused and wanted to be separated from the family when he got the tattoo. He wished that all the Japanese blood in his body could be drained. Later, he wished that he was a Japanese from head to tail and even made up his own father; the second son Zhang Gang, after eating bare rice for more than forty days, used the saved vegetable money to subsidize the family. In that noisy During his childhood, he secretly learned the erhu, accordion, jinghu, swimming, table tennis, and the "wrestling" that he was most proud of. Of course, his wrestling was practiced while defending the dignity of his aunt and mother again and again. According to the teacher, his focused eyes could see holes in stones. After Yatou and Zhang Tie went to Japan, his letters became daily necessities for Xiaohuan. The lost ones drift with the current as they are lost, but persevere in the torrent, shining with the light of humanity.
The book is called Aunt Duohe. The love, hatred and resentment of the Zhang family were aroused by this Japanese orphan. After reading it, I felt very complicated and had an indescribable feeling. She lamented that Duohe had had ups and downs in her life, but being able to live with her children when she was old added a touch of hope to her miserable life. Xiaohuan fought so hard for this family. She was a kind and great mother. In the end, she and Heizi depended on each other, which made people feel a little desolate in her later years. Fortunately, she could always wait for her child's letter, which was also her hope of living. No matter what era, peace or war, the essence of maternal love will never change.
Xiaohuan's loneliness at the end was so sad!
