The boy Anlun was only eight years old when his family moved to the capital Warsaw. Under the control of the German army and Jewish police, the family's life became increasingly difficult, and An Lun became a smuggling leader from a young apprentice. When his mother passed away, An Lun lost his last support. On the winter street, the old doctor Kozak took Anlun back to the orphanage and continued to live with hundreds of orphans. Kozak went door to door asking for help, fighting for his children's right to live. An Lun's humanity was awakened. In 1942, German soldiers forcibly transported two hundred children to Nazi concentration camps for massacre. Regardless of life or death, Kozak insisted on staying with his children until the last moment of his life.
