This book is the second part of the forensic Qin Ming retro suspense series "The Burning Hummingbird". In the first part of "The Burning Hummingbird", Tao Liang, a modern policeman, fell into a coma due to overwork while researching information on a cold case and fell into a long dream. In the dream, he returned to the 1970s, transformed into policeman Feng Kai, and teamed up with young rookie policeman Gu Hongxing to solve the case. "The Burning Hummingbird: The Mystery 1985" continues this setting. Tao Liang jumps from the dreamland of the 1970s to the 1980s, and finds that he is still Feng Kai's character, but he somehow becomes the hero of the corpse-burning case, and is almost "assassinated" inexplicably. Gu Hongxing, who has been promoted to Feng Kai's boss, believes that there is another real culprit in this corpse burning case and asks him to continue investigating. This setting is a coincidence. Every time I want to complain about the method of solving crimes, I think it is a modern brain and the technology of the 1980s, and it seems to be a little more acceptable.
From the perspective of Forensic Doctor Qin Ming, Hummingbird 1 is as evocative as Hummingbird 2. The plots are interlocking and more humane than Forensic Doctor Qin Ming. It's so interesting. I hope the author can produce more exciting works!
