Thoughts after reading
The story is complicated (in my eyes, but not necessarily in Poirot's eyes). As I read, I kept guessing who the murderer was, but I always went astray. When the great detective Poirot finally explained, I suddenly realized it just like the person involved. I had to admire the author's writing ability. This story is very attractive to readers.
Agatha's reasoning is not that sophisticated and the foreshadowing is not very good. The results are a bit abrupt and some parts cannot withstand scrutiny. The clues of Japan's Seicho Matsumoto are laid out very well, and the readers can follow along to solve the case while reading... But the method of testifying about murder is simply creative and really eye-catching! Later, Conan and other writers borrowed from it! All in all, it's a blessing! That's awesome 👍
The story and some details are wonderful
The story is very exciting, and there are two obvious parts in the middle. One is that after Simon was shot, he did not feel the sadness of losing his wife, but instead cared about Jackie very much, and his attitude towards Jackie also changed; the other is that when Maid Lynette said whether she had seen anything, her way of speaking was indeed a bit strange, and she felt like she was communicating with the people at the scene... Of course, you have to read to the end to figure out every detail. The novel is still very exciting.
I like all Agatha's works.
A good book with rich content
Wonderful
It's good-looking and exciting. I'll watch the movie next.
I watched the movie, it was very good.
Compared to Sherlock, Poirot is more emotional and real
After reading 40%, I can deduce the final ending. It's a great book.
classic
It's a little slow to get into the theme at the beginning, but then it starts to make people want to put it down. A classic is a classic, and it will make you energetic whenever you read it.
