One morning in November 1981, Michael Maina, who lived in an apartment in Atlanta's Hinrs District, got up at 6:30 as usual and went to work at 7:30. She is a bank clerk. At half past eight, a teenage boy who lived in the same building as Maina was jumping up and down the stairs to exercise when he found a money bag. The boy had borrowed money from Maina a few days ago, and he knew it was from her wallet. The boy sent the wallet to Maina's house. Maina's parents quickly called their daughter's bank. The bank said they didn't see her at work. Maina's parents panicked and searched the building with their neighbors.
