About This Novel
Keigo Higashino: "I wanted to destroy the novel I wrote before, so this work was born." Hydrogen sulfide poisoning incidents occurred in two hot springs one after another. Although after investigation by Professor Qinge, it was determined that it was "impossible to be man-made" and the case was closed accidentally. However, various doubts and the mysterious girl who appeared at the scene made it impossible for former policeman Takeo, geochemistry professor Qinge and Nakaoka, who was responsible for investigating the incident, to let go... "What is the future of this world?" The girl sighed deeply, shook her head and said, "I tell you, I am happier not knowing."

A strange story begins
It's such an expensive book, it's better to buy a physical book quickly.
In terms of national sentiment, I hate little Japan as always, but in terms of mystery novels, I have to admire the Japanese. Mr. Keigo Higashino is a well-deserved master of reasoning. His works are always so delicate and expressive, either cruel or indifferent, but also full of tenderness, making people unable to put it down.
A father killing his own child - something most people would find unacceptable. Why? Because of family ties. So where does family affection come from? Brain. Parents adopt nurturing behaviors to protect their children, which is common to all mammals. The purpose is to effectively leave your own genetic genes. We call this system "family affection". Because of family affection, we have a series of activities such as protecting our children and raising our children. Caisheng's family system collapsed, leaving him with no idea that he could not kill his own family members, and his brain was incomplete. The brain controls our body activities. I think the incomplete part of Caisheng is more like the ideological bottom line in daily life, constraining us. Caisheng tells people that this part of the constraint is indispensable in daily behaviors (it can also be called world view, values, and outlook on life).
I agree with this statement!
What makes this world work is not a small number of geniuses, or lunatics like you, but those who at first glance are ordinary and seem to have no value are the important components. Human beings are atoms. Even if each individual is ordinary and lives unconsciously in the world, once they become an aggregate, the laws of physics will be realized in a dramatic way. There is no individual in this world that does not have the meaning of existence, no one! "
This is Higashino's consistent style. He first leads the readers into the trap step by step, and then discusses the mysteries one by one. It is admirable and thought-provoking.
This book is so weak. I bought a cold drink at the bookstore and sat down to read more than fifty pages before leaving. I couldn't follow this style. A friend recommended that the middle part is very nice. But I really can't read the middle part, so I can only abandon this book. Are there any classmates who feel the same way?
Hahahahahahaha
Just stand here and don't move around. I'm going to buy some hydrogen sulfide.
It seems to have a healing reasoning feel. The whole process is not particularly intense, but it gives me a very comfortable feeling of gradually revealing the truth step by step. The deepening of the theme is also thought-provoking, and I have a long and deep aftertaste.
