About This Novel
Four years ago, I wrote my first travelogue in response to a call for submissions from a travel agency. This first small attempt made me feel that using writing to express my thoughts and feelings was not only effective, but also meaningful. Then I wrote a reminiscence article about the life of a wanderer who had left Beijing for ten years, and I couldn't stop it from then on. While writing, I found that not only was my expression ability good, but my memory was also relatively strong, especially when I saw a sentence from the writer Mai Jia: "Writers deal with memory." This sentence gave me great encouragement. Now that I have a certain degree of expression ability and memory, coupled with years of unremitting efforts to explore the road of life, I am determined to harvest the crops in my life from the critical harvest season of sixty years old. This is also the origin of the title of the book "Mao Mao Ji".
