About This Novel
The seasons can be arranged to be extremely dim, if the sun wills them. Life can be arranged to be extremely lonely, if love is willing. Some people say that if college students don't fall in love in loneliness, they will become perverted in loneliness. I am not a god, so I cannot transcend the world; as a man, I do not want to become a pervert, so I choose to fall in love. Love and friendship are two words that cannot be equated between people of the same sex; but between people of the opposite sex, they are touching gratitude and feelings that are inseparable. Human beings, as representatives of primates, are not so inscrutable. In layman's terms, sometimes they are just incredibly mentally retarded. People often feel attached because they are moved, often feel good about someone of the opposite sex out of gratitude, and often have an urge to love because of this good feeling. Once a man gets emotional, he becomes a stupid donkey. And I was once willing to be a stupid donkey.
