This is a collection of short suspense mystery novels by Japanese best-selling author Tetsuya Yoda. This manuscript contains a total of 3 novels: "Infection Game", "Chain Induction" and "Silent Complaint". "Infection Game" tells the story of officials from the Ministry of Health and Welfare's Pharmacy Bureau who colluded with Midorikawa Pharmaceutical Factory to sell non-heated preparations, causing some patients to die after contracting the virus. The father of one of the deceased accidentally killed the son of a government official out of revenge. As the police investigated, the illegal activities of the Pharmacy Bureau officials were gradually revealed. "Chain Induction" tells the story of Kurata, a detective who investigates a murder case and discovers that the victim is an official of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs who made false accounts and was corrupt and his mistress. The two were killed because a reporter discovered evidence of their crimes and was framed. In order to retaliate, the reporter killed them and were eventually arrested. "Silent Complaint" tells the story of Hayama, an upright police officer, who accidentally received a report of a quarrel between two elderly people, Chengo and Tanigawa, over regretful chess. He went to investigate, but found out that Chengo's wife was unable to receive her pension in time due to the social security policy revised by Tanikawa, an official of the Ministry of Health and Welfare's social insurance agency. She could not afford medicine, which led to her death from epilepsy. Because of this investigation, Chengfu's revenge against Tanichuan was prevented.
