Liu Naou, a native of Liuying District, Tainan City, Taiwan; a Taiwanese novelist and film producer during the Japanese occupation, who studied at Aurora University in Shanghai; his writing follows a modernist line and has contacts with Shi Zhecun and others; his representative work is "Urban Landscape", which describes the fanatical confusion of urban men and women, drawing on the techniques of the Japanese New Sensation School; he has translated Yokomitsu Riichi's novel collection "Pornographic Culture" and Fritsch's "Sociology of Art".
