In November 2014, at an international academic symposium commemorating the 260th anniversary of Wu Jingzi's death, Zheng Zhiliang of Renmin University of China published an important new discovery - "Inscriptions on Scholars and Foreign History" by Wu Jingzi's good friend Ning Kai. Then he discovered six poems by Wu Jingzi "Post-New Yuefu". These newly discovered important new documents have surprised relevant scholars at home and abroad. Scholars such as Ye Chuyan continued to explore and produced new results, which led to a new understanding of the original appearance of "The Scholars" and Wu Jingzi's family history. The book "The Scholars and Chinese Culture" is a collection of the results of this important international academic exchange.
