About This Novel

The Ming and Qing Dynasties were a prosperous period in the history of Chinese novels. The value embodied in literary forms had broken the monopoly of orthodox poetry, and finally ranked alongside Tang poetry, Song lyrics, and Yuan opera. I read vernacular short stories and did not experience the era of "Internet book shortage". The piles of legendary masterpieces were so soul-stirring that I couldn't bear to put them down. Similar to the swordsman novels about a soldier dying for his confidant, the strange and unjust cases in officialdom novels, or the vicissitudes of life of Yutangchun and Du Shiniang's daughter, from the extraordinary rise of "Strange Stories from a Chinese Studio" to "Three Heroes and Five Righteousness" which created the fusion of public cases and chivalry, I don't have to talk about it in detail, but I still know a little bit about it.
