It's all about introducing things that have nothing to do with the plot. It's as boring as reading a history book.
This book is very beautifully written,
I really like this kind of original novel.
I skipped through dozens of chapters and couldn't stand it anymore. It felt like two novels had been edited into one. Xinyue Princess seemed to be from Fulin's era. By the time of Kangxi, Xinyue Princess didn't even know what she was doing. I really feel it is inappropriate to insert it like this. There are all kinds of broken sentences, and it's really tiring to watch.
That Nian family feels like there is no need to travel through time twice.
Writing about clothing is too long-winded and repetitive. Is the author trying to make up the word count?
