"A General History of African Arab Countries", compiled by Professor Wang Tiezheng, a famous expert on Middle Eastern history, is the first general history work written by Chinese scholars that comprehensively reflects the history of African Arab countries from ancient times to the present. Among them, "History of Morocco" was written by Lin Songye, associate researcher at the Institute of Middle East Studies at Northwestern University. It is the first relatively complete general history of Morocco written by a Chinese scholar. There are 10 chapters in the book. The author introduces Morocco in ancient times, Morocco in the Middle Ages, the establishment and early rule of the Allawi dynasty, the competition of European powers for modern Morocco, modern Morocco that became a "protectorate" in chronological order from ancient times to the present.
