About This Novel
On July 1-2, 2017, an academic forum for doctoral students in German history was held in Beijing. Young students from universities at home and abroad, including Peking University, Tsinghua University, Renmin University of China, Freie Universität Berlin, and Ecole Normale Supérieure de France, attended the forum. With the theme of "Germany and Europe in the Historical Context", the forum strives to draw on and absorb theories and achievements in the fields of humanities and social sciences such as history, philosophy, German literature, international relations, politics, sociology, law, and economics to achieve positive cross-disciplinary interaction. More than thirty papers published at the forum have been compiled into this book, showing new explorations of German and European issues.
