About This Novel

Winner of the French Fénéon Literary Prize (1957), it is a unique novel of the French New Novel School. "Memories of Time" skillfully uses the decomposition and combination of time, in the form of a diary, through the tracking of a mystery case and the review of a love, to record the exploration, resistance and recollection of the protagonist, French young Jacques, in a maze-like city in England.
