Bilbo and the thirteen dwarves went through all kinds of hardships to regain the treasure from the dragon Smaug. During the journey, he also accidentally discovered a small ring that would later change the history of Middle-earth and laid the foundation for the story of the "Lord of the Rings" trilogy. This book contains more than thirty color and black-and-white illustrations drawn by Tolkien for "The Hobbit", many of which are published with the text for the first time and are extremely precious.
