About This Novel

"Canglang Zhuojin" is a novel written by Fang Zhongming, a distinguished researcher at the Zhejiang Rural Development Research Center. The work is divided into two volumes. Through the perspective of those who have experienced it, it closely follows the two major themes of patriotism and inspiration. It is based on Zhejiang's rural areas and describes the passionate and soul-stirring rural revitalization process during the reform and opening up, thus reflecting the reform spirit of Zhejiang. The book mainly tells the entrepreneurial and emotional stories of the "Three Musketeers" farmers in northern Zhejiang, Shi Jiasheng, Shi Jiangen and Bao Xingliang, from the implementation of the household responsibility system in the 1980s, the restructuring of township enterprises in the 1990s, to the new look of "agriculture, rural areas and farmers" at the beginning of this century. It explains the Zhejiang farmers' pursuit of dreams, forge ahead and perseverance. "Provincial farmer" Gu Yikang commented that this book "will provide practical reference for comprehensively promoting rural revitalization, accelerating agricultural and rural modernization, and achieving common prosperity."
