About This Novel
After the beginning of the "Cultural Revolution", some places that were not originally managed by the General Office of the Central Committee were often visited and used by leaders of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, such as the Great Hall of the People. For the convenience of management and security, it was more appropriate for the General Office of the Central Committee to take over. Therefore, the matter of taking over these places was put on the agenda. After the Great Hall of the People was handed over to the General Office of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, on November 14, 1966, Wang Dongxing, Director of the General Office of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, convened a meeting with heads of relevant departments of the Central Office of the Communist Party of China, and made detailed arrangements for the handover of the management and security work of the Diaoyutai State Guesthouse.
