She held her seven-month-old belly and walked on the busy street under the scorching sunshine. With a pair of anxious and helpless eyes filled with tears that were about to fall, she looked for her husband, Xue Mo, in the vast sea of people. Suddenly someone in the crowd squeezed her, and she lost her balance and fell to the ground. Her stomach hurt violently, and bright red blood flowed down her thighs. She screamed in fear. She woke up screaming from this nightmare, covered in sweat and trembling. She lifted the quilt and breathed a sigh of relief when she saw that her belly was intact. She touched her belly and said to herself: "Baby, don't scare mom anymore, okay?" With a "bang", someone slammed the door of the room.
