About This Novel
After 72-year-old grandfather Deyi retired, he lived alone in an apartment. He was a bit stubborn and would argue many times with the owner of the electrical appliance store over whether to buy a new TV. He is also very willful occasionally and will buy ingredients that he has never tried before and challenge himself to make new dishes. He is also willing to fight against his fading memory - who once affectionately called him "grandpa"? Are teenagers who don't go to school bad kids? Why do things that happened not long ago become distant in my memory? These seemingly trivial questions all require answers, because for him, nothing can be forgotten. Grandpa Deyi lives every day seriously, finds joy in ordinary life, and feels the warmth of the world from getting along with others.
