A legend about a disease Do you know leprosy? When I decided to take up writing on the subject of leprosy villages, the difficulties and struggles I encountered were far beyond my expectations. My previous limited understanding of the disease was that it was an infectious disease, scary and a bit far away. It seems to be equivalent to the history of human civilization, ancient and mysterious. "Do you know about leprosy?" With this question, I randomly interviewed nearly a hundred people. The answers varied, but there was a common theme: leprosy is contagious and very scary. "Have you ever seen leprosy?" The responses to this question asked at the same time were broadly similar. "I've never seen it." "Then why do you think leprosy is so scary?" I would ask. The answers are basically similar. "I heard."
