This is Ba Jin's bitter indictment when the country and nation were invaded by foreign enemies. It contains poems and essays from the "January 28th" Incident in 1932 to the fierce fighting of the Songhu Anti-Japanese War in 1937. He said: "There are naturally cries here, but the main thing is accusations. Regarding violence that endangers justice and humanity, I make my voice: 'I accuse!'"
