About This Novel

Lu Ling is a famous modern writer and a member of the July Party. His creations lasted from the 1940s to the "Seventeen Years" and the new era. The starting point of this book's research is neither a panoramic "scan" and exposition of Lu Ling's novel creation, nor a repeated discussion of issues that have been fully valued and studied in Lu Ling's novel creation. Rather, it is an attempt to break through the conventions of the genre and examine and stage it from a holistic perspective. By contrasting the two dimensions of sex, we excavate the works and artistic characteristics that have been "obscured" or have not been fully discussed in Lu Ling's novels, trying to present the echoes and dislocations between Lu Ling's novels, literary mainstreams, and political practices in different historical contexts, and outline the evolution of Lu Ling's literature.
